Selva del Mar translates to “Jungle by the Sea” and is located on fifteen acres amid one of the last remaining protected tropical jungles along the Riviera Nayarit. Selva del Mar sits high on a ridge overlooking the beautiful Pacific ocean where you can watch the sun set slowly into the big blue ocean waters 365 days of the year.
Listen to the sounds of the jungle and you will be able to hear many different kinds of bird songs from mocking jays & chakalakas to parakeets flying in groups of forty or more in a constant conversation.
Selva del Mar offers three different and unique living situations designed as individual homes set along tropical jungle pathways. All three houses can be rentted together for larger groups, families or retreats. A good part of the experience is just being there enjoying the wonders that nature has to offer. It is only a ten minute walk through the jungle on a well maintained path to the pristine Playa Patzquarito, a long white and black sand beach, undisturbed by the business of town, without vendors, and with few people to encounter.
We are one mile south of the Sayulita town square which translates to a twenty minute walk or a five minute car/golf cart/ or taxi ride.
All rentals are provided with WIFI, clean filtered water, towels, shampoo, yoga mats, hammocks, full kitchens, etc. Casa Mandala has two air conditioned bedrooms.
Our caretakers, Juan and Rosa live on the property with their children and Lala the guard dog. They will greet you, help you get settled, answer any questions (Spanish only), and cook delctable meals for you upon request.
