Selva del Mar offers three different and unique living situations designed as individual homes set along tropical jungle pathways. All three houses can be rented together for larger groups, families or retreats. A good part of the experience is just being there, enjoying the wonders that nature has to offer.
It is only a ten minute walk through the jungle on a well maintained path to the pristine Playa Patzquarito, a long white and black sand beach, undisturbed by the business of town, without vendors, and with few people to encounter.
Selva del Mar translates to “Jungle by the Sea” and is located on fifteen acres amid one of the last remaining protected tropical jungles along the Riviera Nayarit. Selva del Mar sits high on a ridge overlooking the beautiful Pacific ocean where you can watch the sun set slowly into the big blue ocean waters 365 days of the year.
All rentals are provided with a high speed fiberoptic connection to WIFI, clean filtered water, towels, soap, shampoo, yoga mats, hammocks, full kitchens, and shared laundry facilities.
Our caretakers, Juan and Rosa live on the property with their three children below Casa Mandala. They will greet you and help you get settled. They speak only Spanish but understand a fair amount of English.
